La cave des Rois is a family estate which extends between the canton of Vaud and the canton of Valais. His cellar is located in Villeneuve and his vines are distributed between St- Saphorin , Villeneuve, Fully and the Evouettes . For five generations, this family estate has done everything to produce wines of excellence.
DIVERSITY AND QUALITY AT LA CAVE DES ROIS

One of the strong points of this cellar is also that its Evoouettes estate is the only Valais vineyard with a view of Lake Geneva: enough to make lovers of the region dream.
THE HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN OF LA CAVE DES ROIS
For five generations, the Grognuzes have run the Cave des Rois. At first, the family also ran a restaurant. Since 1983, the Cave des Rois has been producing wines in barrels, which was a first in the region. In 1986, she obtained authorization to plant Syrah in the canton of Vaud, which made her a pioneer in the field.
EXCELLENT WINES: A FAMILY HISTORY
François Grognuz, who is at the head of the cellar alongside his father Marco, talks about his professional career: practicing high-level skiing, he first undertook commercial studies, before finally turning to the profession of winemaker.
As a child, he spent a lot of time at the family cellar, which also motivated his choice.
As a representative of the fifth generation of the estate, François is proud to continue what his ancestors had started: he ensures the continuity of the quality of the wines from the family cellar. And the collaboration with Marco contributes to this because father and son are very complementary.
